Overview - Professional Certificate Program in Health and Humanitarian Supply Chain Management

The Georgia Tech Center for Health and Humanitarian Systems (CHHS) offers a professional certificate program designed for practitioners in non-governmental organizations (NGOs), government, industry, and military who are active participants in humanitarian operations including disaster response, long term development, and public health operations. The courses are developed for practitioners seeking to build skills to improve decision making in preparedness, response operations planning, and system design and are taught by world-renowned, award winning experts in health and humanitarian systems. Courses include many interactive components, such as case studies and games, which help professionals in the humanitarian world to link the decision-making tradeoffs they face in practice with the systematic approaches, tools, and techniques presented.

Participants must complete all three courses to earn their Professional Education Certificate, and the scholarship only supports those seeking to earn their certificate.

  • The scholarships are available only to those participants working for non-governmental organizations (NGOs) or the public health sector.

The deadline is December 31, 2023 to apply for a scholarship towards the course series. Scholarship applications received before the deadline will receive priority; scholarship applications received after the deadline will be considered on a rolling basis depending on availability.
